I dag finns det trygghetskameror installerade i alla GUB:s bussar och en del av våra trafikledare bär också kamera som en del av sin utrustning. Det inspelade materialet från bussarnas kameror kan inte tittas på av någon på GUB men lämnas på begäran av dem ut till polis i samband med brottsutredningar.
Syftet med GUB:s kamerabevakning är att:

Kroppsburna kameror
En del av trafikledarna är utrustade med kroppsburna kameror. Syftet med kamerorna är att minska hot och våldssituationer. Till skillnad från trygghetskamerorna i bussarna som alltid är påslagna så slår personalen själva på kameran manuellt vid behov. Det inspelade filmmaterialet från kroppskamerorna sparas enligt rutin under en kort period på skyddade dataservrar hos GUB och endast polisen kan begära ut filmmaterial om de behöver utreda ett eventuellt brott.
Om du blivit utsatt för ett brott ombord
Har du blivit utsatt för ett brott bör du omgående göra en polisanmälan, så att polisen kan begära in inspelat bildmaterial via sin egen bildanalysgrupp. Därefter gör polisen en brottsutredning. Bara polisen har tillgång till lagrat bildmaterial. GUB gör inga brottsutredningar.
Vid polisanmälan ber du polisens utredare att begära ut bildmaterial. Det måste göras snarast möjligt efter brottstillfället, annars är det risk att bildmaterialet går förlorat.
Personuppgifter – vilka är dina rättigheter?
Enligt dataskyddsförordningen har du rätt att få veta om du förekommer på film och, om det rör dig själv, få ut det inspelade materialet, samt rätta eller radera det inspelade materialet. Vi har dock rätt att neka detta i vissa fall om arbetet skapar orimliga administrativa bördor eller om begäran medför integritetsrisker för andra personer.
GUB har inte möjlighet att söka efter personuppgifter i det filmade materialet. Vi kommer heller inte att kunna lämna ut eller visa bildsekvenser där det finns andra identifierbara personer, då vi är tvungna att skydda deras integritet.

Cameras – for a safer journey
Today, there are security cameras installed in all GUB’s buses and some of our traffic managers also carry cameras as part of their equipment. The recorded material from the onboard cameras can not be viewed by anyone on GUB but is handed over to the police at the request of them in connection with criminal investigations.
The purpose of GUB’s camera surveillance is to:
- Increase security for travelers and staffAt the request of the police, assist with footage in their investigations into crime
Body-worn cameras
Some traffic controllers are equipped with body-worn cameras. The purpose of the cameras is to reduce threats and situations of violence. Unlike the security cameras in the buses, which are always switched on, the staff themselves switch on the camera manually when needed. The recorded film material from the body-worn cameras is then routinely saved a short while on protected data servers at GUB and only the police can request film material if they need to investigate a possible crime.
If you have been the victim of a crime on board
If you have been the victim of a crime, you should immediately make a police report, so that the police can request recorded footage via their own image analysis group. The police then conduct a criminal investigation. Only the police have access to stored image material. GUB does not conduct criminal investigations.
When reporting to the police, you ask the police investigator to request footage. This must be done as soon as possible after the crime, otherwise there is a risk that the image material will be lost.
Personal data – what are your rights?
According to the Data Protection Ordinance, you have the right to know if you appear on film and, if it concerns yourself, get the recorded material out, as well as correct or delete the recorded material. However, we have the right to refuse this in certain cases if the work creates unreasonable administrative burdens or if the request entails privacy risks for other people.
GUB does not have the ability to search for personal information in the filmed material. We will also not be able to disclose or display image sequences where there are other identifiable persons, as we are obliged to protect their privacy.
